Herbal Medicine
Wimberley Acupuncture offers a wide range of Chinese herbal formulae. Herbal medicines are used to regulate the movement of energy and blood in the body as well as to strengthen and improve the function of internal organs. Herbal medicines are often prescribed in conjunction with acupuncture to enhance the results of a treatment and support continued progress toward a patient’s goals between treatments.
Herbal formulas can be taken in many forms including pills, powders, tinctures and teas brewed from a combination of raw herbs. At Wimberley Acupuncture the herbs prescribed are primarily pills and tinctures.
