About
Carol Kelly, L.Ac., MSOM, R.N., BSN
Carol is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Her work in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a perfect complement to her more than thirty years as a Registered Nurse, practicing in a wide variety of health care settings including orthopedics, plastic surgery, cardiac care, intensive care and home health.
A gifted healer and facilitator, Carol has created a practice that focuses on helping individuals take personal responsibility for their health care concerns, utilizing the basics of the body-mind-spirit connection to support a whole systems approach to healthy, balanced living. She supports her clients in achieving successful resolution of pain, internal disorders, stress related illnesses and substance abuse. Carol’s focus is on family practice and her clients’ range in age from 6 months to 95 years.
Carol earned her Master of Science degree in 2002 from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas. She has more than 2880 hours of extensive clinical training in acupuncture and herbal pharmacy and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
As an acupuncturist, Carol has most often been complimented on her ability to listen and connect with her clients as well as her feather light touch, making the acupuncture experience relaxing and essentially pain free.
